OUR ORIGIN STORY
In early 2019, a fortnightly meeting of badminton-loving friends in Leith, Edinburgh, fell victim to Covid-19 lockdowns. As the world cautiously returned to normality, in a time where friendship and connection was more important than ever, Budminton was founded. Our mission to be a place where making great friends is effortless was warmly received and our club grew arms and legs, providing various sessions at multiple locations in the eastside of Edinburgh. To this day, our motto is social first, badminton second and we also host social events away from the courts to help strengthen the bonds within our community.
We continue to welcome all levels of player to our club and maintain the social vibe,
while also providing coaching for beginners and a space for occasional
friendly competition.
